µPD720133

µPD720133 is a generic USB device controller designed for storage devices, and has a USB 2.0 PHY and an IDE interface. The controller has 2 banks of 512 Byte RAM for Bulk-In and Bulk-Out endpoints. The low-power design of the internal circuit allows for bus-powered operation of USB 2.0 high-Speed devices. With an integrated 16-bit CPU, an on-chip firmware ROM, and an IDE interface with support for UltraDMA/66, the controller is an ideal single-chip solution for converting high-Speed IDE storage devices (such as CD-RW and HDD) into USB 2.0 devices.
