µPD720102

ECOUSB™ Series




USB has become the most common interface between PC and PC peripheral devices.
USB peripheral devices are now so popular that we saw an increase in demand for USB devices being used in the consumer products such as digital TV, Set-Top-Box, and other products.

The latest USB 2.0 host controller, µPD720102 was designed to best suit these products to realize the USB host interface. It has an excellent performance in terms of data transfer rate. It is compatible with the current USB drivers found in various OS. It consumes very low power during no USB device attachment on the ports as well as during data transfer. The µPD720102, known as ECOUSB series products, integrates an 1.5 V internal voltage regulator for core logic and several termination resistors for the USB signals, helps developers to realize an ecological and economical system easily.
Besides suiting for the above mentioned applications, µPD720102 can also be used in many other applications which products require the USB 2.0 host interface.
