µPD720101 Product Overview
µPD720101 is a USB 2.0 host controller. It has 2 OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface), 1 EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller Interface), and 5 USB ports, and is fully compliant with EHCI Rev 1.0 and PCI Rev 2.2. Power consumption has been reduced from the predecessor, while performance has been improved. µPD720101 is best suited for both desktop and laptop PCs, as well as PCMCIA cards. Each USB port provides full compatibility with existing USB 1.1 devices, while supporting high-Speed data transfer via USB 2.0.
