µPD720100A is the first on world wide USB2.0 Host Controller certified by USB Implementers Forum. One EHCI (=Enhanced Host Controller Interface) and two OHCI ( =Open Host Controller Interface ) are integrated on single chip. The Controller has PCI that specification Rev.2.2 and five USB downstream ports, and is suitable for designing USB Interface on PC Motherboard,or by Cardbus and Add-in Card. Each USB port will keep its connectivity with USB1.1 devices, and provides the High-Speed data transferring.
