CPP (Collaboration Program with Partners)
The NEC Electronics Group has had a partner evaluation and rating system in place since the 1970s, but to further promote collaboration with our partners, we overhauled the system in fiscal 2003.
We have named the new system, "Collaboration Program with Partner", or CPP. With this system, for each item to be purchased, the partner and NEC Electronics mutually agree on specific issues (price, quality, delivery date, environment, CSR, etc.), as well as specific targets, and spend one year jointly striving to achieve the established targets with ties between the two companies.
At the end of each year, we evaluate the annual activities of each partner and provide them with feedback, so that they can act on those results during the next year, while we adjust our procurement policies accordingly.
