We have adopted a high-quality, well supported, commercial Linux with proven quality development tools. We can thus take advantage of Linux and its open-source architecture.
Features of the Linux platform
This is a software platform that enables the efficient use of customers' software assets by combining open source based Linux with OMF having a standardized multimedia interface.
We have adopted commercial versions of Linux that have been well proven in embedded system development, namely, "Wind River Linux" by Wind River K.K., and "Mobilinux" by MontaVista Software, Inc. These Linux versions offer the development tools that customers need, while being fully supported, so that customers can bring their products to market quickly and efficiently.
