When cutting the ties on a tray, hold the tray down firmly. |
| 2. |
Do not move trays when they are untied. |
| 3. |
When changing the product inside the tray, watch out for lead curve. Use vacuum tweezers or absorbers so as not to touch the lead. |
| 4. |
Make sure the location of stored products does not accidentally move (Figure 2-6). |
| 5. |
Avoid shock to trays when stacking. |
| 6. |
Make sure there are no irregularities in the spaces between stacked trays. If a device is out of alignment with its container, the space between trays will increase. |
| 1. |
Handle individual boxes with care. If extreme vibration or shock (external force of over JIS Z0200 level II) is applied, the shape of the SMD terminal may be altered or the main unit damaged. Note in particular that if dropped or subjected to shock following removal from individual boxes (i.e. devices are in bags with trays tied), the SMD terminal may be altered and the tray damaged. Also, do not store at high temperatures or anywhere with high humidity levels. |
| 2. |
Some measures to combat static electricity have already been applied to packaging materials (trays and magazines etc). However do still be careful about static electricity when handling. |
| 3. |
Antistatic additive has been applied to transparent plastic magazines, so please be careful about the following.
| a) |
Antistatic additive may be diluted when washed in water and lose its effectiveness. |
| b) |
Rubbing the surface a number of times will reduce the effectiveness of the additive, so try to keep to a minimum the number of times the SMD is inserted and pulled out of the magazine. |
|
| 4. |
The tape of tape-packaged material and reels are not heat-proof, so do not subject to baking. |
| 5. |
Request concerning recycling of trays As an environmental measure we are recycling trays, and request your cooperation in this. Please do not use adhesive tapes to tie trays together, because if the surface has adhesive material on it, the tray can no longer be recycled. |
| 1. |
Handle complete dry packs with care. Do not subject to extreme shock or pierce with sharp objects; this will damage the dry packs, causing the product to absorb moisture and be degraded. |
| 2. |
Points to check after opening a complete dry pack
Humidity indicator cards are included in dry pack packages. When moisture has been absorbed, the color of the card changes from blue to pink. If the card has changed to pink, the product may have absorbed moisture, so subject to the baking process. |
| 3. |
Expiry date after opening dry pack
After opening a dry pack, carry out soldering within the storage expiry date shown on the label attached to the bag. |
| 4. |
Handling of product with expired storage date after complete dry pack is opened
Bake at 125 any product past its expiry date. Baking time will differ by product. |
| 5. |
When stacking dry packs after taking complete dry pack products from a box, make sure to insert cushioning material in between. |
