Terminology Reference Symbol Description
Nominal dimensions - Mount pad in-line interval
Package length D Length of package body
Package width E Width of package body
Overall width HE Dimension including the peripheral terminal length with regard to the package width direction
Seating plane S The surface determined when package is placed on a horizontal surface
Seated height A Height from seating plane to the top edge of the package body
1st standoff height A1 Height from seating plane to base plane (bottom edge of package body)
Package height A2 Height from base plane to upper edge of package body
Standard height of soldered part A3 Standard height of 0.25mm from seating plane
Terminal pitch Logically correct distance between terminal center positions
Terminal width b Width of each terminal(including plating)
Terminal thickness c Thickness of each terminal(including plating)
Length of flat section of terminal L Effective projected length of flat part of terminal
Length of soldered section of terminal Lp Effective projected length of terminal attachment defined by standard height of soldered part
Terminal length L1 Length from terminal edge to package body, projected to seating plane
Tolerance value of terminal center position x Deviation from location where each terminal center should be - Maximum Material Condition (MMC) applies
Terminal coplanarity y Maximum deviation in vertical direction between each terminal bottom surface and seating plane
Terminal uniformity angle Angle between flat part of terminal and seating plane
Lengthwise overhang ZD Distance from center of terminal at the extreme edge of lengthwise direction to package edge
