(LSI sets for DVD recordable drives)
Description
These are LSI sets that support high double-speed playback and recording in compliance with the 5 types of recording DVD standards.
The analog processing LSI µPC3345, which supports recording at high speed (16x), and analog processing LSI µPC3346, which supports a low voltage of 3.3 V for low power consumption, can be selected as needed.
- Support high-speed playback and recording in compliance with standards for CD and DVD disc media. The maximum speed is 16x for the 5 types of recording DVD standards and 48x for 2 types of recording CD standards.
- Support either major standard for interfacing personal computers: serial ATA interface and parallel ATA interface.
- Support major copyright protection technologies for DVD recordable drives, such as CSS, CPRM and VCPS.
- The analog processing LSI µPC3345, which supports recording at high speed (16x), and analog processing LSI µPC3346, which supports a low voltage of 3.3 V for low power consumption, can be selected as needed.

The speed for playback and recording shown on this page is the target maximum value in design.
