NEC Electronics Announces New Names for Subsidiaries
KAWASAKI, Japan, March 3, 2008
As previously announced on November 28, 2007, NEC Electronics Corporation (TSE: 6723) is reorganizing its manufacturing facilities in Japan. On April 1, 2008, six domestic subsidiaries will be consolidated into three, and the company names of NEC Kyushu, NEC Kansai, and NEC Yamagata will be changed accordingly. These changes were approved today at meetings of the consolidating companies' shareholders.
