Kaoru Tosaka, Former President and CEO of NEC Electronics, Passed Away
KAWASAKI, Japan, March 6, 2007
It is with profound sadness that NEC Electronics Corporation announces the passing of former president and CEO Kaoru Tosaka. Mr. Tosaka had served as the company's president from November 2002 until October 2005. He was 64 years old when he passed away on February 28 at Kudanzaka Hospital in Tokyo, from pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife, Emi.
Funeral services for family and relatives have already been held. A special memorial service for employees will be held on March 28 at the Takanawa Prince Hotel. For further inquiries, please contact NEC Electronics' General Affairs Division.
