µPD168117A

Stepping Motor Driver

Pulse input 7-channel H-bridge Driver

Overview

The µPD168117A is monolithic 7-ch H-bridge driver LSI which uses power MOSFETs in the output stages. By using the MOS process, this driver LSI has substantially improved the voltage loss of the output stage and power consumption as compared with conventional driver circuits using bipolar transistors.
Two stepping motors, two DC motors, and a coil can be driven simultaneously pulse input control supported, which enables a reduction in the number of CPU signal lines.
Current feedback 128-division micro-step driving supported, which enalbes silent and low-oscillation motor driving.
