Our lineup supports compact, low-power applications. For example, we have added a 40-pin (6x6 mm) product to our 32-bit RISC MCU lineup. Packages like our 5x5 mm FBGA package and our 0.75 mm thin WQFN package are perfect for developing compact, thin products. Current in STOP mode is 94% less than our competitors. These packages are easy to incorporate into devices.

V850 Solution Lineup

NEC Electronics offers a wide range of solutions to support our customers' development efforts, including ASSP specialized for systems, middleware enabling complex processing (see note), and peripheral devices enabling special functionality (see note). This greatly reduces the development cycle and reduces costs as well.

Use ASSP products for V850 inverter control to easily start motor control. A brushless DC (BLDC) motor is included, so we recommend it to everyone who wants to test or try it out on a motor.

Speech

Presentation

We offer multiple connection solutions in accordance with the application. We offer low-cost solutions using low-end V850 All Flash microcontrollers in applications where low transfer speeds are acceptable, such as remote monitoring and control, and solutions using the high-end V850E/ME2 and V850E2/ME3 when high transfer speeds are needed.

Low-end connection solutions (TK-850/JG2+NET (note))

Combining compact network software with a high-performance, high-capacity All Flash V850 makes it possible to easily implement a low-cost Internet connection on two chips, simply by mounting an Ethernet controller. This is the ideal solution for remote monitoring and control.

High-end connection solutions

The V850E/ME2 and V850E2/ME3 are capable of data communication speeds of 10 Mbps or more, enabling their use in applications that need to transmit data at high speeds (e.g. video transmission). For example, when used in a networked camera, they enable simultaneous network processing and camera control.
