The V850ES/SJ2 microcontrollers are 32-bit RISC microcontrollers targeted for car audio systems.

- 43 MIPS at 20 MHz, 2.85V - 3.6V at 20 MHz single-chip microcontroller
- Low power dissipation of approximately 25% less when compared to the V850/Sxx
- Compressed audio files can be saved by built-in high-capacity memory
- Built-in IEBus controller or CAN controller for internal car LAN
