The µPD78987x microcontrollera provide the minimum functions required for the display of audio equipment.


Architecture Support

  • Built-in VFD controller/driver: 25 display output pins
  • Timer: 5 channels
      • 8-bit remote control timer: 1 channel
      • 8-bit timer: 2 channels
      • Watch timer: 1 channel
      • Watchdog timer: 1 channel

Applications

  • Products with a front panel such as DVD, VCD and S-VCD
