The µPD78020x microcontrollers are targeted for audio applications.


Architecture Support

  • Built-in VFD controller/driver: 53 display outputs
      • Segments: 9 to 40
      • Digits: 2 to 16
  • Timer: 5 channels
      • 16-bit timer/event counter: 1 channel
      • 8-bit timer/event counter: 2 channels
      • Watch timer: 1 channel
      • Watchdog timer: 1 channel
  • Serial interface: 2 channels
      • 3-wire serial mode (with automatic transmit/receive function): 1 channel
      • 2-wire serial mode (transmission only): 1 channel
  • 8-bit A/D converter: 8 channels (Supply voltage (AVDD) = 4.5 V - 5.5 V)
