CA850
The CA850 is a versatile, portable C compiler package developed for describing the embedded control programs of the V850 Microcontroller in C language.

PM+
The PM+ project manager is an integrated development environment platform that integrates NEC Electronics development tools on Windows so as to improve their operability. PM+ is included in the compiler package.
Operations in user program development such as starting the editor, builder, and debugger can be executed serially from PM+.

- PM+ incorporates a smart lookup function, eliminating the need to describe function and task names.

SM850
The SM850 is a system simulator for the V850 Microcontroller.
Functions and features
- Same operability as debugger for V850 Microcontroller
- "Target-less" evaluation possible before target device is complete
- On-chip peripheral functions (timers, UART, etc.) can be simulated in addition to CPU
- Data on signals input to each pin can be generated and signal input can be simulated (signal data editor, input timing charts)
- Large-capacity trace
- Extensive range and number of events
- Virtual target system can be built and simulated on PC
- Parts such as buttons, LEDs, and level gauges are provided as standard (I/O panel, user option interface)
- The state of peripheral I/O registers can be specified as an event and interrupts generated and data set or referenced when that event occurs (peripheral I/O event & action)
- Microcontroller I/O signal waveforms can be monitored (output timing chart)
