Feature

The PG-FP5 is a tool for NEC Electronics' microcontrollers with on-chip flash memory to erase, program, and verify in the target system or program adapters. It also features security with high performance and improvements in functions for mass production lines.

    • Supports high speed writing (SIO handshake: 5 MHz)
    • High speed program file downloads over USB 2.0
    • Compatible with 1.2V low-voltage microcontrollers
    • Generous code storage function (can hold a maximum of 8 types of code and microcontroller information)
  • Security Functions
    • Self diagnostic function
    • Microcontroller security can be set (disable erase, disable programming, etc.)
  • Production Line Features
    • Supports off-board, on-board writing
    • Supports stand-alone writing
    • Small, space-saving, easy-to-use button layout
    • Write complete buzzer function, equipped with GND connector (GND cable)
    • Planned expansion of optional products for mass production lines
    • Support for functions to transmit write commands as communications commands
    • Support for remote I/F functions which can operate, check writing and OK/ERROR displays on an external control device
  • With the FP5 Manager feature, the FP5 unit can be customized and security settings can be set
