What is the difference between package symbols H and HF?

Take the series regulator, for example.
The following products have H or HF in their product name.


TO-220 is a name given by JEDEC and MP-45G is originally named by NEC Electronics.

"F" indicates a full mold coating and indicates that the part of TO-220 that is made of metal is coated by insulation mold for the MP-45G.

The merit of the full-mold product is that the insulation mold coating substitutes for the insulation plate. In addition, no insulation bushing is necessary, therefore the number of mounting processes can be decreased.
