Can device V850ES/SG2 be simulated?

It can be simulated with system simulator SM+.
The following two products that can simulate the V850ES/SG2 are available.

• SM+ for V850ES/Sx2
• SM+ for V850

The SM+ for V850ES/Sx2 can simulate the instructions and peripherals of the V850ES/SG2 and V850ES/SJ2.
It must be separately purchased as it is not included in the software package (SP850).

The SM+ for V850 can simulate the instructions of the microcontrollers of all the V850E and V850ES cores.
However, it can simulate the instructions and peripherals of only the uPD70F3261Y.
This simulator is included in the software package (SP850).

Instruction simulation:	Can simulate only instruction execution of a microcontroller. The internal peripheral functions (such as timers and serial) of the microcontroller cannot be simulated.
Instruction and peripheral simulation:	Can simulate both the instruction execution and internal peripheral functions (such as timers and serial) of a microcontroller.
