An uploaded Motorola S type hex file does not have an S0 record.
Q1
An uploaded Motorola S type hex file does not have an S0 record.
A1
The Motorola S type S0 record indicates a file name, but it is omitted when a file is uploaded because it is treated as an option in the hex format of Motorola S type.

The flash memory programmer can write programs without S0 record, with no problem.
The S0 record is also omitted when you order ROM products.
There is no adverse influence of missing of the S0 record.

Q1
When using the IECUBE, what is the difference between the USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 connections?
A1
USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 differ in speed of debug operation (STEP execution time), downloading, and uploading.
Although the actual value varies depending on the OS and CPU, the processing with USB 2.0 is 3 to 5 times as fast as that with USB 1.1.
There are no functions that cannot be used between USB 1.1 and USB 2.0.
