Can simulation at assembly language level be executed with the simulator?
Q1
Can simulation at assembly language level be executed with the simulator?
A1
Yes.
If coding is performed in the assembly language, the assemble source can be opened on the Source window, where breakpoints can be set and step execution can be performed.
If coding is performed in C, the C source can be opened on the Source window, but the Assemble window can also be opened by selecting [Assemble] from the [Browse] menu.
Breakpoints can be set and step execution can also be performed on this window.

Q1
Can operations on the I/O panel (such as pressing a switch) be automatically executed by inputting commands on the Console window?
A1
Operations on the I/O panel cannot be automated by command execution on the Console window.
However, simple button operations on the I/O panel can be automatically executed by setting the level of a signal to be input to a pin by using the signal data editor. Such settings can be saved.
In this case, three types of levels can be input to the pin: high level (1), low level (0), and high impedance (z).
(Therefore, operation of the level gauge cannot be automated.)

Q1
Can operations related to interrupt processing be checked by using an I/O panel when the simulator is used?
A1
Yes.
If the program outputs a signal to a port in the interrupt servicing routine, the interrupt service can be checked by an LED on the I/O panel if the LED is connected to that port.
