With the 78K Microcontrollers, the address of a variable can be checked as follows.
Select [Linker Options...] from the [Tool] menu,
and then click the [Output 2] tab.
Select "Create Link Map File" and "Output Public Symbol List".
This outputs a list of global symbols as link map information.
The value of a symbol (address of a variable) is on this list.
