CPU and Peripherals

NEC Electronics offers a wide range of products, available with our original V850E core, or with ARM core, the defacto standard embedded CPU for mobile devices. The peripheral IP is provided as software macro, based on customer request.


Super-Resolution Technology (Super-Resolution IP Core)

"Super resolution" is a technology that is used to sharpen out-of-focus images or smooth rough edges in images that have been enlarged using a general up-scaling process (such as a bilinear or bicubic process), thereby delivering an image with high-quality resolution.
