EC-2140

The EC-2140 (µPD35502) boasts high performance, with an ARM9 that operates at 192 MHz, as well as built-in media CODEC engine enabling simultaneous playback of multiple tracks. This enables a wide range of applications, including separate playback for front and rear seats in large cars.
It can also perform Bluetooth processing, enabling support for such major applications as track data forwarding and headset playback profiles. This added features can be selected from an always-available customized solution menu (addition of paid software), making it simple to add features without adding new devices or developing software. This lets you quickly design high-performance car audio tailored to the market.

Multi-playback Feature

The high-performance CODEC functionality enables simultaneous playback of multiple tracks.
Using this functionality enables a wide range of applications. For example, it would be possible to play music in a large car from an SD card in the front seats, and from USB memory in the rear seats.
