Cell-Based IC

High-performance, highly integrated ASICs based on leading-edge technologies.


Cell-Based IC

Sophisticated system LSIs can be created by mounting specially designed function macros, such as CPUs and analog circuits.
Miniaturization and reduction of the chip unit cost can be achieved because specially designed macros are used. In particular, the overall development cost can be reduced when cell-based ICs are adopted for products to be produced in large quantities.


PFESiP (Platform for Embedded System in a Package)

The PFESiP (Platform for Embedded System in a Package, Platform ESiP) is a new ASIC solution providing gate arrays quickly, cheaply, and safely with expanded functionality, by developing gate arrays and general-purpose function chips into SiPs, which are pre-verified and lined up as masters.


PFESiP

High-performance CPU-mounted ASICs can be created as easily as gate arrays.
This is a new ASIC solution by NEC Electronics and is proposed to customers who think that it is difficult to produce a SoC due to reasons related to cost and labor.
