Overview of AP140's specifications

Product Introduction AP140

AP140 is a specific application processor for long audio playback with cellular phone and has 200KByte large memory (stream buffer) to keep the audio data. This memory is about 6 times as large as the general audio processors. As the digital baseband LSI(DBB) can transfer the large audio data once from the flash memory or SD card to AP140 memory, the DBB needn't to operate for long time during music playback. Therefore, the system power consumption is reduced, and AP140 is able to achieve 50 hours of continuous music playback.*1 This product is suitable for the manufactures to keep the balance between long playback time and cost.
